robbpell , thank you but smsreceived6 file is in .caf format and I don't know how to convert this file to .mp3 or .m4r ( I am trying to use it as ringtone)

sry i just assumed you wanted in sms tone format because it was an sms tone but here it is in ringtone format |

Hi I read and followed all of the steps to getting my ringtones. Everything went really well up until I tried to sync the ringtone to my iPhone. When I tried to sync it, a window popped up saying " (Song) was not copied to iPhone because it cannot be played on this iPhone."
Help!
