It is starting to dawn on ppl all over the place,

THERE WILL BE NO 3G IPHONE RELEASED ONE MONDAY

there is not enough official hype around the 3g iphone its lla rumours and then hoxers who get your hopes up,

at the most the iphone will be mentioned and it will be "in development"

think about it people,

nothing but a mention from apple a few months ago
a mior slip up by at&t online
and a supposed mac ad in NYC

my bets is nadah, i mean AT&t iphone native Service provider isnt even 100% set up for 3g and the patents were only posted last week

there aint enough evidence

Old news, it's already known it won't be released then.

The providers still have to test their services with it and if all goes well, it will be released late June or early July.

AT&T Always gets new product SKUs in their computer systems at least a week before release. Right now AT&T stores have no SKUs and no new displays...

i think you've missed the point but it shoudl hit you right between the eyes come monday, there is always official clues and hype,

the only hype we have is the stores not granting leave because there are expecting an influx of ppl to buy the new iphones/itouches with the 2.0 and the launch of app store,

I'm saying you're no smarter than any other person speculating what might happen on Monday. There's nothing to stop Apple announcing at WWDC the iPhone is to be released next week.

Ok besides apple, jobs, and 2 very high ups with ATT, no one knows any official data. This translates into a few things.
#1. The ATT store employees (i used to be one of them) that drop subtle hints to the release date and possible features are all going off of rumors or making it up BECAUSE -
#2. No ATT stores have any new SKUs for the iphones which must arrive in the store point of sale computer systems along with new iphone banners a minimum of 1 business week before a product release.
#3. The Monday, June 9th date that every iphone user is looking forward to, i believe, is when Steve Jobs will publicly announce the official next gen iphone release date, features included in the new phone, and when the new 2.0 firmware will be released. I believe that only after the key note will you start to see solid activity from ATT and new TV commercials for the next get iphone before its official release.
#4. Besides the source that says the new App store will be released monday, there isnt even anything solid that the new 2.0 will even be released then. If the App store is released, the update you could all be waiting for this monday could instead be firmware update 1.1.5 Not 1.2 (2.0)

Please understand that im not attacking anyone with this post, im just stating what I see and hope no one flames me for it.

I Think They Will Just Say Its Not New,, But Upgraded! Thats It ,, Ipod Is Still Ipod And Iphone Will Still Be Iphone No Matter What Just As Time Goes By Theyll Come Out With More Features So U Can Go Buy The Newer One And I Dont Think Theyll Call It Iphone 2 Or 3g Iphone It Will Stay At Iphone, Just Better Than The Last One And More Expensive .

I agree with 300 in that he will only announce the official existence and release date of the 3G iPhone much like he did the MacBook Air. It took almost a month to hit the stores after he announced it.

Plus consider that there has been absolutely no new iphone advertisements. Sure the iphone users who have modified their phones and the ones who check for web updates on the phone frequently have gotten hint/ rumors that something is up but consider this - Any time you want to sell a hot new product to hundreds of thousands of people as soon as it comes out, you have to market it well. Jobs is an incredibly smart guy. To think he would just suddenly release a new product one day without any warning is, well, well its not Steve Jobs like...

I stand by my thinking here. I dont want to disappoint all those who are expecting this 3G thing monday at 10:00AM after Jobs does his thing or all the people who have already sold their phones on eBay to cover the cost of the new phone but its probably going to be an upset to you all when it does happen.

Please dont complain about it, flame Steve Jobs, or cause a riot if it does happen.

annnnnnddd? was their any commercials before a new iPod is released to build hype for it? They usually actually show the commercials when its announced(like the macbook air or new iMac etc)
