Guys, please stop asking for testing,
1. We don't need them yet
2. Only donators or devs will be able to test. So unless you fall underneath those categories then your requests will be completely disregarded...

Also, we are not using lame tricks to have half-*** working bluetooth. We want to be able to play our music via headphones without calling people. And if we made a stupid app to perform that trick then it doesn't allow us to send files, or even pair with our computers... Its worthless, as I personally would never use it...

Please, STOP discussing this crap here. If you have something useful, than, by all means, pitch in.
Don't repeat what has been said and make stupid observations. We have looked into bluetooth more than anyone... So of course we know it doesn't pair properly with a computer, OR any device for that matter. If you were interested, thats our next step, and are currently in the process of writing a script to allow us to attach to any device, and hopefully transfer raw data via the connection. ZOMG were working.
So if you can tell us how find the bluetooth stack and how to modify it, or rewrite a bluetooth profile for the iPhone... then yeah, by all means post and help. Otherwise, your wasting yours, and our times...

Thanks for you who have believed from the start.
Good-bye.

Has anyone thought of using this idea in a different way?
List what you want from a more functional Bluetooth.
Take those wants/needs and see what platform could support those needs/wants.
If the Bluetooth was a possibility to develop wouldnt Apple have done this already?
What if you could develop a new way of sharing and pairing to devices using bluetooth?

The reason for my post is the back and forth arguing and no direction. I am not a developer so you can "disregard" what Im saying but from what I see here you should be going about it this way first.

Hey man i fully hear where you are coming from... Please believe me when i say we have done our homework on this one... It is possible, the chip can handle it (we got the specs on it) and the operating system definitely can as well...

Im my opinion this is why apple refuses to do it:
#1 their stupid drm protection, they dont want music sharing quiet simply...
#2 They dont want to grant us more access to the file system than we already have, just makes jailbreak easier
#3 at&t obviously doesnt want internet sharing
#4 they dont have a stereo bluetooth head set (that i know of) so what benefit would they have from a stereo headset, also it stops people from buying their headphones.
#5 they dont have any benefit from spending money trying to develop it
#6 im sure there are more reasons im just too tiered to keep writing

now your next question might be
"why would they include bluetooth usage for calling?"
well that would draw a line for many people... if i drove to work every day i would probably not buy the phone because i would "need" hands free...

that is my response
